Last One Fast One
Hello Everyone!
The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and summer is in full swing here in Murun.
Oops, I guess I ruined the surprise.
For my last transfer, I am staying in Murun with my companion Sister Horne! Exactly what I wanted.
I'm careful about saying what I want or what I think will happen for transfers—mostly for my own self-preservation, but also to not set up expectations. But last transfer, I flat out told Sister Horne that my last transfer dream would be to stay together in Murun.
She, of course, said the same thing. We have grown so close together, and we honestly work so well together. Not to mention we have so much in common with all the places we have lived, our music tastes, and our general views on gospel principles.
Anyways, I'm getting on a rant
This week was awesome! We had such an eventful few days over the transfer day and the travel day. One day we texted over 40 grey dots for contacting, and three people texted back that they were interested!
It was so cool! We are now doing online lessons with two people who were previous grey dots.
This week was so busy with online appointments and member meals! We honestly have been so blessed with the ward’s invitations to us.
This transfer is my last one! Only six weeks left, and I'm so excited to see my family again.
However, I also realize that with every day that goes by, I have less and less time to do missionary work here in Mongolia. So instead of looking at the countdown with a trunk vision, I am looking at it as a countdown timer on a challenge. I want to get as much done here as I can before my time is up. So don't worry friends, I am going out strong
D&C 89:18–21
18 And all saints who remember to keep and do these sayings, walking in obedience to the commandments, shall receive health in their navel and marrow to their bones;
19 And shall find wisdom and great treasures of knowledge, even hidden treasures;
20 And shall run and not be weary, and shall walk and not faint.
21 And I, the Lord, give unto them a promise, that the destroying angel shall pass by them, as the children of Israel, and not slay them. Amen.
That's it for this email!
