The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway

Hello All, First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who responded to my last email's challenge. To all those who responded, you made me ugly cry, which is not an easy feat. I seriously loved seeing everyone's memories and photos. It really made my birthday a special one. As my title suggests, it's getting a little chilly here in Mongolia, but thanks to my amazing mother and her packing skills, I am staying warm. If you are ever planning to vacation in subzero temperatures, I would highly suggest consulting Naomi. She's the bomb. This week, we had so many little miracles. Here are my favorites: We were on our way to one of our investigator's houses when we got lost. We knew the house was in the area, but the pin on our Google Maps was incorrect. We tried calling her three times, but she did not answer. All of a sudden, I remembered that I took a picture of her gate and went to find it. If you know me, this is pretty crazy since I have the memory of a hard-b...

"You Should Contact Your Pillow"

Hello Everyone, I haven't written an email in two weeks. I'm sorry to say I've been sick and did not want to stress about writing emails and such. But now I kind of have no excuse. Our investigator then received the gift of the Holy Ghost, and it was amazing. She really is a cool person. This week we visited four different hospitals—two for me and my ears and cough, and two for Sister Tsolmon and her throat. Boy, are we the most put-together companionship out here in Mongolia. We also had so many people come to sacrament on the 19th, which w...

Legos, New Investigators, And A New Friend

Hello my amazing listeners! The past two weeks have honestly been amazing. My companion Tsolmon and I have been completely booked, having lessons back to back and trying to fit in new referral meetings. We are so happy for all the work we have here! Last Monday, we started with about 60 referrals, and I'm happy to say we are all done. Our amazing elders took some of them to help with our load, but they did get done. This past week, I came down with a nasty viral infection and a horrible cough. I still have the cough, which absolutely sucks, but I am feeling a lot better. We were able to meet with so many people as well. We had two investigators that we met with this Sunday, and they both had really spiritual dreams. One of the investigators dreamed about Joseph Smith's First Vision. This was really cool. I was able to say hi to my 9-year-old brother for his birthday, which was awesome! One other investigator of ours had like 12 yellow dots. Our church here in Mongolia runs ads ...
