My Third Trio

Hey all,
This week was pretty crazy, so I'll run you through the details.
Last P-day, our carbon monoxide alarm went off on our smoke detectors, so we camped at the church and then slept over with our STLs.

We returned the next day with no word on the carbon monoxide levels, but we woke up the next morning all right.

The rest of the week was gai gui. And then on Saturday, I got transferred to the city. With a long time in the car and very slick, icy roads, I am now serving in Bayanzurkh. So, um, yeah, I get to be in the BEST TRIO EVER with Sister Taylor and Sister Udal!!! Sister Taylor and I were in the MTC together, and Sister Udal was with us for the first 4 weeks in the MTC because she is in the district above us.

It's been so fun with them. I've only been in this area for three days, but they have been so kind and welcoming and literally so fun. I could not have asked for better companions here. Bayanzurkh is really busy. Definitely my most busy area, but these two amazing sisters are showing me the ropes. If you can't tell already, I love them.

On Sunday, we got to go inside the wrestling palace, and it was super cool! All around the outside of the circle, there are little offices. It was super cool! But it was also much smaller than I thought.

We also ate with the Butlers (our amazing senior couple), and they made THE MOST AMAZING TACOS, wow. They bought really good ingredients and were able to feed all of us hungry missionaries—which was a feat on its own.

This P-day, we are going into the BZ to watch The Chosen for a relaxing day.

I just wanted to share my testimony really quick that Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father know you, love you, and are aware of all your difficulties. They know all of your sins and the sins committed against you. And yet, through our Redeemer Jesus Christ, we are able to start again. We are able to continue living life knowing that God is rooting for us instead of keeping tally of all our faults.

To me, this is beautiful.
I love you all, and I know God does too.

Anyways, here are some pictures,
Love, Sister Vestel
