"Someone Call An Ambulance.... But Not For Me"

Image
Hello Everyone, It has been a week. I was sick for most of it, so there is not much to announce. I am officially less than 2 months till my end date (July 25th). Needless to say, I'm really psyched. This week we are moving to another apartment, but of course, we waited till the last minute. I'm a last-minute mover. We have zone conference tomorrow and therefore have to get everything done today. Yayyyyyyy. Anyways, I love you all and hope you have a great week. P.S. The title came from one of the Elder's investigator who was making friendship bracelets with me, my companion, and our investigator. Peace and Love, Sister Vestel P.P.S. Sorry I look like a pilgrim in the picture below.

Colds, Cookies, And Wedding Dresses

Hello Everyone, This week was pretty slow. My companion has a horrible cold, and every time she coughs it sounds like her lung is about to pop out. So not very good. Last P-day we went to a Buddhist temple by us. It was so cool. We saw a few monks, and I was able to buy a really cool wind chime. We found two new investigators. One was a referral and one was given to us by the Branch President. It was so cool! I am officially 10 weeks out from my end date and almost finished with My Plan (a little online program with six little sections. It was created to help set future goals and keep our eye on Jesus Christ as we transition from mission to home life.) My sister is going wedding dress shopping this week! My mom, my grandma, and my sister are all going to be there! I am so excited to see the pictures! I can't wait to see what her choice will be! (Stay tuned next week to see if she picked any out on her first try)

A Little Russian, A Little French, A Little Boogie

Hello everyone! I'm just gonna write a short email this week. This week for mutual, we played at a gym. I absolutely loved playing volleyball with our youth here in Murun. We ran into the French bicycle riders again. It was so cool to see what they have done since we last saw them. We also got some cool pictures on the way to the sports gym. Doesn't my companion just look like the sweetest person ever? She's such a sweetheart. We also found out that Oyun Bolor's parents won't allow her to get baptized, but we are welcome to make kosher with her parents this next week. So we will get to know her parents for now. That's all for this week! Sister Vestel

Hello everyone! To my fellow Mongolian missionaries, I hope you had a stress-free transfer day. I am staying in Murun for my second-to-last transfer, and I have a new companion. Sister Horne has been here in Mongolia for seven transfers. She grew up as a State Department kid, so she understands all of the moving around and all of my Air Force jokes. We had to take a huge box back for one of our elders and a packet that finally arrived for me. The packet was sent off in September and finally made its destination here in Mongolia. This is my second-to-last transfer. I'm excited to see my family so soon. That's all for this week, With love, Sister Vestel
